Have you had your
Carmela Moment?
Well, I did. And so did Janie! Hahaha.
Okay, so today was our LEAP day. Meaning, we would have alternative classes for the day. Mine was ETC: Not So Easy. It was about managing a cable channel. ;)
The speakers were Ms. Bing Gutierrez and Ms. Sam Oh.
Bet you didn't know that ETC is based here in the Philippines.
HAhahahahha.
We also watched an episode of Project Runway, which is nice. You should watch out for that next year! See, we were the first group to see that episode. LOL.
ETC will also launch a new channel, ETC: 2nd Avenue, which would cater to a slightly older audience.
And there would also be a lot of new shows early next year.
Another factoid : Sam Oh is a graduate of DLSU (Only last March). She took up AB-CAM, but didn't pass the application to majors because of her GPA. So she shifted to AB-ISA. She's a Korean who have been living here in the Philippines since she was 6.
So there.
As for the Carmela Moment, okay.
We first went to Masagana to look for the background music we need. But we didn't find any. There was actually a CD, but it was too expensive.
We went to Carriedo after that to buy the materials we need for our report in KASPIL1. So walk, walk and walk.
Then after walking for so long, we decided to head to National Bookstore to buy some art materials.
We were in the middle of choosing what textile paint to buy, and a guy told us that we should use Acrylic paint which could be bought in a hardware. Blah and blah.
With what he said, we had second thoughts on buying btextile paint.
So we went to the top floor to exchange the box paper, or whatever that is, for a thicker one.
When we were paying, the big bottle of brown textile paint slipped off Mela's hands.
(We did not intend to buy textile paint na, we would be buying acrylic.)
Splaaaaaaaaaaaaaat! It went. It spilled on the floor. And on my feet. And I was wearing my pink flops. LOL.
So Mela paid for it, while Janie and I were errrr... trying to put back the spilled paint, Janie blurted out that that was a "Mela Moment". Or was it a "Carmela Moment"?
Hahahah!!
I told them that my feet and slippers look like they stepped on some nasty shit. LOL.
Ayun, we went home na. Ayun.
Hay ang sakit talaga ng ulo ko. :(
